He was appointed Special Assistant U.S. Attorney in South Carolina to implement prosecution of civilian misdemeanors at Parris Island. Mr. Drescher also became a member of the National Security Task Force in 1987 investigating and prosecuting espionage and related cases arising from the U.S. Embassy in Moscow. 1992-2000 U.S. Marine Corps, Reserve (retired as Lt. Colonel in January 2000) Admitted to practice before the following courts: 1991 to2003 Joined Stokes, Bartholomew, Evans and Petree in 1991 and was made a principal in 1993. 2003 to present Founding member of Drescher & Sharp, P.C. in August 2003. Mr. Drescher exclusively practices in the areas of civil litigation and domestic relations. He has participated in over fifty jury trials, and has been involved in a wide range of cases at the trial and appellate level in state and federal court. Additional areas of concentration include commercial and business disputes, insurance disputes, personal injury and medical malpractice cases (plaintiff representation). Mr. Drescher's strengths include an ability to investigate cases thoroughly and communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts and opponents. His primary strength is a demonstrated ability to prepare and try complex jury cases with favorable results.
