Labor and Employment Law
Our attorneys represent clients in a wide range of labor and employment law matters. Our labor and employment law practice can be divided into two components: (1) dispute resolution, such as trial and administrative proceedings, and (2) preventive measures such as policy preparation, HR training and corporate compliance. Financial Crisis - Reorganization - Insolvency Litigation
Our attorneys handle financial crisis, reoganization and insolvency litigation which is essentially the identification and analysis of issues surrounding business, real estate projects, and certain high-income professions or individuals and the litigation of disputes within insolvency process. In the past 20 years we have represented companies in over 70 separate industries in either workouts or the filing of Chapter 11 cases. A substantial number of our Chapter 11’s have reached successful conclusions either by dismissal, confirmation of a plan of reorganization, or sale of assets pursuant to section 363 of the bankruptcy code. Among these successful reorganizations were real estate developers who controlled assets up to 500 million dollars.
The Chapter 11 business debtor practice is a special area of practice that requires years of experience as well as knowledge of the bankruptcy code, bankruptcy rules and the federal and local rules of court.
