Experience

Mr. Kinslow concentrates his practice in the areas of healthcare operations, transactions, physician contracting, Stark law, peer review & medical staff credentialing, hospitals and hospital systems, Federally Qualified Health Centers and Rural Health Clinics, physician joint ventures, health professional licensing, J-1 Visas (Immigration), medical malpractice, Medicare and Medicaid fraud and abuse, healthcare litigation, professional negligence defense, assisting physicians, dentists, nurses, and allied health professionals in all phases of their professional careers. As part of his healthcare practice, Mr. Kinslow has extensive experience handling labor and employment matters, as well as small business development and business transactions. 

Mr. Kinslow previously served as in-house counsel for Nashville-based healthcare company HCA, Inc. While at HCA, Mr. Kinslow held the position of Senior Labor and Employment Counsel for over five years. In this role, he provided legal advice and representation to HCA’s approximately 163 hospitals and 112 outpatient surgery centers in the U.S. and abroad in the areas of labor and employment law. He also served as the Assistant Vice President of Contracting and Supplier Diversity where he led HCA’s initiatives in achieving greater cost savings and increasing the number of business relationships with minority and women-owned business enterprises at local, divisional, and regional levels. 

Also prior to joining Drescher & Sharp, Mr. Kinslow founded T2K Consultant Group, which provided business consultant services in the areas of business start-up and development, organizational planning and effectiveness, marketing and sales, capital sourcing, and diversity consultant and training services. 

Mr. Kinslow has had an extensive military career and continues to serve as a member of the Tennessee Air National Guard. He currently serves at the rank of Major and as the Deputy Staff Judge Advocate in the 118th Airlift Wing (a C-130 unit with over 600 members in conjunction with the United States Air Force). Tracey served as an Area Defense Counsel and Assistant Staff Judge Advocate at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi from 1995 until 1999 where he participated in over 50 courts martial (trial) proceedings and numerous administrative hearings.
